Delete your account

Deleting your sync account removes everything the server keeps for it, at once. It cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • The cloud copies of all your profiles
  • Your sharing key, and every profile you shared (the people you shared it with lose access)
  • Your membership in other people's shared profiles
  • Your sessions, so you are signed out everywhere
  • The log entries of your account

What stays

  • Profiles on your devices are not touched. To remove them, delete the profile in the app, or remove the app.
  • Records you wrote into someone else's shared profile stay with that profile, with no writer named.
  • Log lines written after the deletion (the deletion itself, without your email, and later sign-in attempts) are kept for up to 90 days.

In the app

Version 0.4 and later: open Cloud sync while signed in, choose Delete account…, and confirm with your account password.

No password, or no access?

If you always sign in with an emailed code, set a password first in the app (Cloud sync → Forgot password?). If you can't use the app or this form, open an issue at github.com/SinaXhpm/Submarine/issues without any private details, and we will delete the account when you can show that it is yours.

On this page

Sign in with your sync account's email address and password. Your account is deleted right away.
